After his success in High School Musical and Hairspray, teen sensation Zac Efron has been signed to star in Richard Linklater’s Me and Orson Welles. The film is an adaptation of Robert Kaplow’s 1930 novel and will cast Efron as high school senior Richard Samuels who encounters Orson Welles and becomes his student.

A private memorial service for actor Heath Ledger was held Saturday afternoon at Penrhos College. A private funeral at Fremantle Cemetery followed which was attended by 10 people including Ledgers parents, immediate family and former fiance Michelle Williams.
